You may receive the following error while enabling ASP support on your Windows 2008 server from server manager:
Attempt to install ASP failed with error code 0x80080005 server execution failed
In most case, this error occurs if you try to enable ASP from another user. To fix this error, run server manager as an “administrator” and then try to enable ASP.
