Alexa traffic ranking

Well, I think some people still use alexa rank because both are important to consider. Google page rank shows how essential your web site is when in comparison to all other sites & alexa rank is how many visitors your web site gets in regards to all other sites. You are trying to get a high google page rank & a low alexa rank.

I think they are not giving the accurate result. I had two web sites and it was displaying low Ranking for low traffic site and the Alexa rank was high for my high traffic site.

The traffic is based on historical traffic data from millions of Alexa Toolbar users and is a combined measure of page views and users. Alexa can only measure the traffic to browsers, or users, who have the Alexa toolbar installed.
