PHPbb3 not working with Wordpress

Hi,

I have recently installed phpbb3 in my directory called "forum" with phpbb-seo mod. In the root directory, I have wordpress installed.

Now, as per seo Mod, I have added the required code in the .htaccess file but when I try to access any forum, it is giving me 404 error page of wordpress. Below is the code I have in .htaccess file:

I have not made any changes in the code. I have just copied it from ACP. I have double checked all the modification in files that are required for phpbb-seo Mod and all are ok. Now sure what I am doing wrong. Any help to fix this would be appreciated.

If seems that you are facing the problem due to wordpress rewrite rule (specially RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d).

you can find bright to use phpbb3 and word press using a module at http://www.wp-united.com/ . its very handy

this is the only place where i could find solution when i couldn't add a sub directory called forum with in the root directory of WordPress hosted blog

Oh this is a same problem, no one can use the PHPbb3 with wordpress in any version. But you can add blogs an forums under wordpress by using the phpbb3.
