Could I humbly suggest starting instead with Zen Garden? In other words, start with the styling you want to overlay your site, then only after that go to the templates.

The Zen Garden CSS sites has been a favourite resource (for years) amongst Designers & Developers building their own HTML templates, or using templates designed for popular CMS platforms; like Wordpress, WiX, Joomla! or Drupal.

I like to create my own templates of my website I just take inspiration from other sites
