Free web host that allows file hosting?

My question is, is there a free web host that will allow me to basically hotlink to files outside my website, and if so, what is it/are they?

There are pros and cons to free web hosting. The main pro is that it is free. The main con is that you will have less control over your website and it may be more susceptible to downtime.
