Cloud hosting means any of the websites hosted on a hosting cloud or cloud based hosting should have the potential to spread its computing needs across the entire cloud. While VPS means VPS is much the same level with dedicated server, so you can create reseller accounts through this. They both have their own advantages. You will get brief information from any reputed search engine.

VPS = Virtual Private Server which is a mechanism to slice a physical server into virtual chunks (thinking it as slices of the physical computing resources such as RAM and CPU time) that each run and respond as if it's a separate server.

Cloud hosting is an emerging technology that enables the pooling of large number of separate physical computers / servers / computing devices together so that they act like one, and websites or resource consumers (active processes, user applications) pull resources for computing from the pool as a whole.
VPS requires the hosting provider to allocate your server; with cloud hosting you do it yourself using their control panel or API and you're up in minutes.  VPS is just regular web hosting; cloud hosting is IaaS (Infrastructure-as-a-Service). Another difference that comes out of this is that massive server Deployments are much more common and easier to run through cloud hosting.

Cloud hosting and VPS hosting both are different from each others. VPS hosting is as same as dedicated server that allow you to use server to host your site and not share with others. It's also allow you to create reseller account. It's provide good security for hosting your site and its also provide good web space. Cloud hosting is very flexible hosting and it's provide very cheap price to host your site. It is use to host any type of website.

Scale is the most significant distinction between the two server environments. A VPS server can be a wonderful starting point if you're looking to launch as soon as possible and don't care about scale. A cloud hosting environment, on the other hand, is worth considering if you require a flexible hosting setup as well as a high level of site performance and storage.

Cloud hosting gives you access to a nearly limitless amount of server resources. Cloud hosting can be the ideal choice for sites with fluctuating traffic levels or sites that are rapidly scaling. From resource consumption to pricing, cloud hosting provides you with a lot of server power and complete flexibility.

VPS hosting is a wonderful option for folks who just want to build a website but have outgrown the limitations of shared hosting. A VPS is powerful and does increase performance, making it an excellent alternative for any company that requires (and appreciates) server stability.

For optimum scalability and high availability, a VPS is housed on a single physical server, whereas a cloud server is hosted on a virtual partition made up of numerous actual servers. For a visual demonstration of why the multiple server infrastructure is a differentiator.

Cloud server includes several physical servers that are interconnected, but virtual hosting is hosted on one physical server. If you need help with choosing, you can contact the hosting company for advice. For example, HostPro. The company can help you choose the right plan and managed hosting provides high quality technical support.

VPS is Virtual private service, It is one of the most popular hosting service that you can choose for your Website. It uses virtualization technology to provide you with dedicated (private) resources on a server with multiple users. VPS hosting gives you access to guaranteed resources and full control without having to run your own server. It's an excellent solution for medium to high traffic, resource-heavy, and e-commerce websites. However, businesses who expect rapid growth can also benefit from the stability of the service. If you want a reliable, business-scale hosting environment at a friendly price, it's definitely worth considering VPS hosting for your website.

In Contrast, Cloud web hosting uses a virtual network of cloud servers to host a single site. It is different from traditional hosting, which stores one or multiple sites on a single server. The primary benefit of cloud hosting is reliability. When one cloud server is down, other servers can take its place to keep the website online. It is also less prone to hardware failure, and webmasters can scale their hosting resources as needed to anticipate traffic spikes.

Cloud hosting is better than VPS in any case as there you can upgrade resources as and when needed.

VPS can give you limited resources so if you need to upgrade downtimes can be there but when it comes to Cloud hosting , you can create instances yourself and then proceed to use them as traffic is thre

Cloud hosting can be costlier but much cheaper when it comes on calculation by traffic

Here's mentioned some of the main differences between cloud hosting and VPS hosting :

1. One physical server, divided into several smaller server slices that each act as their own virtual server environment. Whereas a private cloud uses distributed resources across multiple physical servers.

2. A virtual private server is generally hosted at an off-site, third-party web hosting provider. Whereas a private cloud is situated on site or at a data center you own.

3. VPS are typically less expensive than cloud servers

4. Virtual Private Servers are not scalable whereas cloud servers are highly scalable.

5. VPS don't offer high availability whereas if a physical server fails, cloud servers are migrated to another physical server without experiencing an outage.

6. There can be security concerns. If a customer on your shared server does not take security seriously, and gets hacked or gets a virus, then your VPS could be negatively affected. Whereas cloud servers are completely secure since you virtually have your own server. If a client on the shared cloud gets hacked or gets a virus, your cloud server will be completely separated with no risk to your data.

7. Computing resources are shared between all clients; therefore, RAM, bandwidth and CPU performance can be affected if another VPS on the shared server is demanding a higher load. Whereas on cloud servers there is no such concern about lagging RAM or CPU power, even if another cloud customer's load grows.

8. Only one operating system can be utilized by each physical server. Whereas each customer on the cloud can select their specific operating system.

Hope it helps...!

VPS hosting and cloud hosting are both distinct from one another. VPS hosting is identical to dedicated server hosting in that it enables you to use the server exclusively for hosting your website. You can also create a reseller account using it. It offers adequate web space as well as superior security for hosting your website. Cloud hosting offers very affordable prices to host your website and is quite versatile. Any form of website can be hosted with it.

What is VPS hosting?
Virtual Private Server is shortened as VPS. In this hosting setup, a single physical server is partitioned into multiple more compact virtual servers. Each of these virtual servers functions as a separate dedicated server environment even if they are all physically a part of the same physical server.
You may create and configure your server partition precisely how you want it because you have a separate, dedicated area of the server with your own set of resources. Additionally, there is no data transfer or shared file access across the accounts on the VPS server.

However, a disadvantage of VPS hosting is that if one physical server fails, all VPS that depend on it would also fail. Although most hosting providers separate the many VPS portions in a way that lessens this risk, the performance of a VPS might still change if one site happens to be consuming resources on the physical server.

What is Cloud Hosting?
When your hosting plan makes use of a network of virtually limitless virtual machines, this is known as cloud hosting. These virtual computers are all dependent on a network of physically connected servers. Cloud hosting acts somewhat like one huge VPS because all of these virtual computers are linked together.
The main distinction between cloud hosting and a VPS plan is that, as opposed to having a single server exclusively for your website (as is the case with VPS), cloud hosting distributes its resources among a number of physical computers.

You gain from the use of several servers with a cloud hosting platform, giving you access to more resources. Your server's power can be increased whenever you'd like to accommodate changing traffic demands. While cloud hosting is more adaptable than VPS hosting, customization options are limited.

Cloud Hosting: A method known as "cloud hosting" unifies several diverse physical servers into a single logical server. Following that, customers are granted access to particular resources on that logical server. There are no single points of failure because all of the processing, data storage, memory, and other system resources are distributed among the physical servers, which is fantastic.
VPS hosting: A VPS is a physical server that has software installed on it that allows for the creation of numerous distinct virtual environments. Then, each client is given unique access to a particular virtual environment. The server's resources are allocated to particular virtual environments for sole use.A VPS is a physical server that has software installed on it that allows for the creation of numerous distinct virtual environments. There is no major difference between Cloud and VPS.
VPS (a virtual private server) is a physical server that is divided between multiple users. It's different then Shared hosting and unlike shared hosting, the VPS is not dependent on traffic or audience. You have your resources, and you are isolated from other servers.

On the other hand, a cloud is a cluster of VPS that consists of different physical and isolated VPSs.
