CloudLinux - Is it worth it for cPanel Shared Hosting
« on: November 01, 2014, 07:45:24 PM »
We currently use CentOS 6 on all our cPanel servers, but have recently talked about changing out to CloudLinux for all since abusers are becoming more and more prevalent.

Especially since changing to CL is quite easy from CentOS using their scripts.

I was wondering a couple of things from people who use it and who have done this change over.

1. What are your thoughts, is it really worth the price monthly for what is does? Will it really help with abusers?

2. Is there anything to worry about with the change over to CL using their automated scripts on production servers? Has anyone ever had any problems with this converting CentOS 6 to CL? Anything we should check first before doing it?

Any ideas, past experiences or thoughts you can give me on this would be greatly appreciated.

It is worth to use CloudLinux for security point of view as well as server stability. It's really worth using CloudLinux on shared hosting.
