Warning: GD extension needs to be loaded for OpenCart to work

Hi,

I have a cPanel account on which I am trying to install OpenCart but I am getting following warning:

Warning: GD extension needs to be loaded for OpenCart to work

This is a VPS and I have full access of this servre but I am not aware how can I fix this problem.

Any help would be appreciated!

You will have to recompile your Apache and PHP using EasyApache option in your WHM. When you recompile your Apache and PHP, you will have to select necessary PHP modules which you would like to load. If you do not have any experience, it is recommended to hire server administrator because it is essential that your harden your Apache and PHP configuration.

I recompiled Apache and PHP using EasyApache option and selected GD option. It is now working like charm!!!

Modules like GD need to select at the time of easy apache only. So, they get installed on server.
