Linux SoftRAID 1 issue - 1 Drive failed

Situation: I have to rescue a server with software RAID-1 setup. One of the drives in the RAID-1, which contains the necessary boot information, has failed. The server is currently functioning using only the second drive, which lacks the boot partition or boot information. The server does not support hot-swapping disk bays. Server backups have been taken and stored offsite.

Problem:
Rebooting the server could lead to it not booting up due to the absence of boot information on the remaining drive.

Possible Solution: To replace the dead drive and try to boot with a LiveCD, OS is Almalinux8 ?

Question:

.What is the path of least resistance and quickest recovery?
.Is it possible to create a boot partition on the remaining drive of the RAID array?
.Is this situation recoverable, and what are the options?
.What is the best course of action to take here?
