I recently started trying to understand how enterprise-level applications are managed when they are hosted and used in real business environments. From what I've read, modern business applications like CRM systems are usually cloud-based and don't require traditional hosting like websites, but they still need proper administration and maintenance. This includes managing user access, security settings, data handling, system configuration, and ensuring everything runs smoothly for end users.

There also seems to be ongoing work related to monitoring system performance, handling user issues, managing updates, and sometimes integrating the application with other systems or tools used by the business.

Since I'm still learning, I wanted to ask how this works in real scenarios. When an enterprise CRM system is cloud-hosted, how is the administration and support typically handled? And what kind of responsibilities fall under daily operations for such applications?
