Specified web site already exists
SolidCP is an open source free web hosting control panel for Windows server. It is a multi servers control panel for Windows server.
In a specific scenario, you may receive the following error message while creating a website:
Specified web site already exists
While checking created website, you may notice that it does not exist in the control panel but you are still getting the above error. This can happen if the website is not removed from SolidCP database when you attempted to create previously.
You can resolve this by removing domain entry manually from your SolidCP database. Before you proceed, please ensure you take the backup of your database. You will need to edit dbo.Domains table from your SolidCP database. You may notice the two entries for isDomainPointer with value 0 and 1. Value 0 is created when you add a domain name but row with value 1 is problematic. You need to remove the entry with isDomainPointer value 1. Now you should be able to add a website without any issue.
